I hardly know where to begin — what an incredible honor and blessing it is to serve as Prior VIII for the Priory of The Temple Church! I am deeply grateful for this opportunity, humbled by the responsibility, and energized for the journey ahead. I follow in the footsteps and the legacy of the previous seven Priors of Temple Church. It will not be an easy path to walk, but with God’s direction, grace, and strength, I will give my very best in service to this priory.
Over the past several years, I have been blessed with the privilege of serving as the Priory’s Chancellor under Prior Dennis Chamberland and his wonderful wife, Claudia. What a meaningful and memorable season that has been! Together, we spent countless hours — and I truly mean countless — on phone calls, around dinner tables, and in planning conversations, working through the details of the Priory’s events over the past two years. Those moments were filled with dedication, laughter, fellowship, and a shared love for this work.
Now, as we look ahead to the coming years, I could not be more excited! I am thrilled to be working closely with my Chancellor, David Sokol, along with the rest of my ExCom and Priory officers. They have already been fairly warned: they should expect plenty of phone calls, big ideas, and more than a little hyper-energy along the way!
More details will be shared in future newsletters, but we are already planning a number of regular Priory events designed to strengthen fellowship, serve our local communities, and support Christians in the Holy Land. I am excited for what lies ahead, grateful for the people walking this path with me, and ready to get to work!
